This blog post has been inspired by a local t-shirt printer down the road from me. They are really making it happen; for me to meet people like this is super important at this stage as it gives me soo much motivation to push my ideas to a new level. Alex and Krista are running Pink Grasshopper Studio located in Seaforth, Nova Scotia. They have been hustling at this now for 3 years and I remember I got hold of Krista around 3 years ago with the idea to put my logo on a t-shirt. I was looking for a company that had sustainability in mind. In our day and age, we have so many monopolies that have only one thing at the forefront of their minds and that's money. I've worked for many of these types of businesses, and it's a scary thing to see the carelessness of operations. I was so stoked to find these guys who had only just started up their printing business offering such a great product when I asked about sustainable options they really laid out the options and made it obvious that this was something they cared about too, which was big prompt for me to get my shirts printed by them. They offer water-based ink, ethically sourced garments, biodegradable chemicals, and natural organic fibers. If you want to check out their gig they have an amazing-looking website.

When I went around to pick up the t-shirts I got to see their operation in person which was super cool! Running a business from home set up in your spare space looks super sustainable as you don't need to travel far to work giving you more time on the job instead of traveling, this is exactly how I want to run a pottery studio!

Now I have the T-shirts I am even more stoked because the quality is top-notch! The fabric feels really good quality and the sharpness that they got on the print is excellent, I can't recommend these guys enough. Using a local t-shirt printer instead of going for cheaper larger scale options. I've opened the doors to connections and helped them progress as a small business, their morals align with mine and together we can help the local economy grow.
